Safeguard Force is a volunteer-led community patrol group based in Bournemouth, Dorset, founded in 2025 by Gary Bartlett, Ritchie Wellman and Luke Adams amid rising concerns over antisocial behaviour, stabbings, and assaults in the seaside town of Bournemouth. Established as a registered non-profit (SAFEGUARD FORCE LTD), We are apolitical, inclusive, and non-confrontational, with volunteers, including ex-military personnel, security experts, and first aiders as well as local concerned citizens.

Our mission is to enhance public safety, protect vulnerable groups such as women, children, and the elderly, and collaborate with authorities by providing visible deterrence and raising awareness, all funded through community donations without any volunteer compensation.
